Summary: The timeline for this story takes place roughly three months after ‘Good Morning Imladris,’ and two months after ‘Fair Days and Nonsense at the Sign of the Sleeping Marmot.’ The basic idea is Elrond took most of his household to the Havens, including Frodo and Bilbo, then turned around and came back with his sons, Glorfindel and Erestor, and a few others. Legolas and Gimli moved in roughly the same time Haldir and Rabbit did. Bramble is two months old. A little young for communication at best, I admit, but she’s a Mordorian Plains Elf, and I created them so I say she can talk and toddle. So there. Complaints may be directed at my furry rodent backside.
Notes: This series is the result of a challenge between me and Master Erestor.

After I finished the last part of the "Gift" series, in which Erestor finds, much to his, Glorfindel's and our surprise, that he is pregnant, we both decided to continue this story, but each of us in our own way, basing our tales on roughly the same facts. If you should see any similarities, it is not plagiarism from either of us, but the undeniable fact that our minds seem to be wired in the same odd way.
